I have mild tinnitus compared to some of you. But sometimes I do need to mask it otherwise I go insane and panic.

However, when I use maskers sometimes they can aggravate my T and make it more noticable. Usually it's just a hissing sound with a slight high pitch to it, but listening to some of those binaural beats or tone maskers can make my tinnitus go from a low hiss to me keep hearing some low changing tones (more noticable) as soon as I stop playing them.

In a days time it goes back to a hiss however.

Just wondering if masking makes it worse for anyone else.
