Electrical Shock in Head from Tinnitus

do anyone else experience very mild electrical shock type sensations in their brain from time to time or is it just me? it feels like a prick... no pun intended. like if u pass very low voltage electricity thru your body. anyone else get this? .... why does this happen?

Me too. I feel like I am electrocuted in the brain down to my spinal cord.

Yeah I also had this after I had a CT scan a while back, every time I would fall asleep there would be an electric shock type thing and I would wake up straight away. Only happened on the first night though. Don't know if you've had a CT scan and it's related.

Yes I get these usually when I'm close to falling asleep,I also hear like an electrical surge noise through my brain when it happens too.

Interesting to see this topic! Almost every night I feel/here a snap that makes me think of an electric shock. There is no pain and it happens only once in a night. It has worried me a little but I had not associated it with my tinnitus.

Yes, usually about once a month, an electric shock, and the snap which sounds like electricity...I heard on NPR today the they have done some successful studies where a person is administered electrical shock to the head for 30 minutes each day for a month, some are cured, others it is much less severe..

I woke up in the middle of the night, last night, and me T sounded like you discribed for a few minutes.
Randomly, perhaps because I woke up in the middle of a cycle.
