Favourite Video Games?

@William Oliveira I haven't tried tabletop simulator, but I sometimes play on XMage which is another free way to play.

I mostly play in paper, it's only since I've moved away from any big cities that I am playing online a lot.

edit: tabletop simulator doesn't do any rules enforcement, right? XMage is likely better; magic is very complicated. In fact, it's more complicated to play a game of magic than it is for me to do about 80% of what I do in my job as a software engineer :-P

As a Software Engineer, I can relate to that! haha

I heard of XMage, maybe I'll give it a try. If you want to teach me some Magic, let's get in touch and play sometime.

Left4Dead was a good game. I wish they would bring those back to the new consoles in 4k. Also Bioshock as well.

I'm currently on Overwatch at the moment.

I play overwatch too, sometimes. My favourite choice is Ana. I'm seriously considering of changing my computer to play Overwatch and Cities: Skylines without any freezing or delay. What I'm using now is too old and makes too much noise when I play games.

I have loved video games ever since I was young. That is part of the sadness with my chronic pain. Playing them puts me in a lot of pain so for the most part I no longer do what I love. I haven't been able to figure out a configuration of assistive technology that would let me be able to play them again. I do have hope that one day I will find something that works, though.

Recently, I have found more success with mobile games. Though, to me they aren't as fulfilling as traditional games, it has put cheer in me to play something again. The touchscreens are just easier on my hands. I think I'll be exploring this route of gaming more as it seems far more feasible. I look forward to getting a mouth stick stylus.

Right now I am playing a knockoff of the very popular Candy Crush. The specific version I am praying is Sailor Drops. Super cute and let the strategy. Love how it is turn-based instead of timed.

Favourite video game would have to be Life is Strange but Beyond Two Souls was a big part of my childhood...Weird I know but I'm into this story/choices games

@Red Dont worry Red, when I first got T and H back in Feb 2016 I dropped many of the things that I used to love. I was a movie and video game aficionado. However they ended up being put on for a short pause. But as I became more comfortable I started getting back to it. 3 months later in May 2016 I played Uncharted 4 in all its glory. Then the Witcher 3 around December 2016. Horizon Zero Dawn in March 2017. Uncharted Lost Legacy in September 2017. Persona 5 over the the summer-october 2017. South Park Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole these past few weeks. You'll come to a point where you feel comfortable again and it will make you happy again. I guess the biggest thing is if you are a shooter fan as those sounds are a bit more abrupt.

My inability to play video games comes from my chronic pain, not my tinnitus and hyperacusis. I believe it is possible I could one day pick up some after I am able to get the right assistive gear and learn how to use it. To what extent I don't know.

Crusader Kings 2 - get to play as the head of dynasty, amazing potential for storytelling and roleplaying
Morrowind - fantastic. expansive, foreign world that you get sucked into if you don't mind the combat and graphics
Warcraft 3 - classic game, though not as many online players now
Shadow of the Colossus - fighting epic beasts in breathtaking environments
Stardew Valley - comfy game about farming that is a great stress relief

Recently finished To the Moon, which I can say is one of the most moving games I've played.

Video games are important. They keep the mind young and that is crucial, for people as they get older. Exercise and mind exercise (video games) can keep someone physically and mentally young. I been gaming since 80's and will always be a big kid :)

Not a big gamer but the last game I played that I thought was excellent was the last of us, I've got horizon dawn and it's been collecting dust for about a year so might give that ago. Probably any legend of Zelda games as well.... retro game has to be Mario and the original Sonic games.

The Dragon Age series is probably my all time favourite. Inquisition was the very first RPG I ever played, and I just fell in love with it. Currently playing the Witcher series, and it's really amazing as well.
