Flu Attack. Nose Blowing Plugs My Ears.

Steam .. try inhaling steam few times a day.. probably mucus build up.. wear mask when u travel outside..

I have a heavy cold/flu type illness at the moment, along with countless others around here, but my problem now is that it has caused a huge spike in noise, and every time I swallow it's like a extra crispy packet of crisps in my ears, plus they feel full and liquid inside the inner ear. Worried it will stay... Any body had similar? My T is already off the scale some days, and it's hard to cope with this extra burden.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I have just recovered from a bad flu attack and i found that inhaling steam with some vicks added in it opened up my clogged ears and lowered my T. maybe you should give it a try

Flu here. Fever for four days and hacking cough.
T worsened but my nose isn't stuffed. It feels like straining to cough made me worse.
I can't tell if my eardrum is to blame. I posted something about a stiff eardrum but no one seems to have heard of it?
I wish I knew if it was somatic or something from the ear.
Doctors won't even take time to Discuss.
I have to try the steam. What is the best way to do it and for how long? Is afrin or Flonase good for that too?
