Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I picked up a few of shares because I believe in the company, however, there's a lot of risk involved when investing in these types of companies. You just have to look at the stock prices for Auris Medical (EARS) and Otonomy (OTIC) to see what happens when drugs don't pan out as expected. I wouldn't invest any money that you wouldn't mind losing. It's easy to make illogical decisions when you want the results to be positive.
Biotechs are incredibly risky. They can shoot up or down 300-400% overnight! Very volatile. With that being said, I still plan to pick up more shares of Frequency Therapeutics before they announce their phase 2 results. Been following them for a long time and trust their leadership.

I heard the news that Frequency has FDA fast tracking! I'm very excited for everyone that it can help.
Let's hope it pans out, and it actually can help people. It's nice to see slightly promising results, but this isn't the first drug for hearing loss or tinnitus that's made it to phase 2. Statistically speaking this is still almost definitely going to fail.

Hi,
Could you please give an example of a small molecule drug trialed in the past that failed.
Also, any drug for "hearing loss" be it stem cells or not a small molecule drug... anything.

Thanks.

Or any drug trialed which have had FDA fast tracking status...
AM-101 (Keyzilen) was given Fast Track status, and it failed.

There's actually loads of drugs that have been given Fast Track Status and they failed, many Alzheimer's drugs too.

FX-322 seems like the real deal. There's also Audion/Regain as well.

Hearing regeneration ajc, not drugs in general.
If you know of examples of failed drugs for hearing regeneration, please educate me.
Tnx.

No , not any drug which have had " FDAfast tracking status", your words.

any drug concerning " hearing regeneration"

specifically hearing regeneration, be it small molecule or " any drug" including stem cells for " hearing regeneration "

that's clear, yes?
Thanks in advance

No, it didn't fail. They just narrowed (or changed) the indications and are continuing the approval process. This is a quite recent video that the company posted.

Wrong. It REALLY failed TWICE in phase 3 trials, and they always continued by changing the outcome endpoints.

Basically they are on life support, trying to make the phase 3 work a THIRD time.

LOL this is making some investment bankers really pissed off. MUH INVESTMENTS

I just watched the video, this is 100% a paid professional actor.
Right, people go to college to learn how to talk like this in front of cameras. I know because when I was in grad school I paid my tuition by working in the college's TV Film Radio degree program.

That's possible. It's also possible it's not. You don't know.

Honestly, the fact that it all went away in a year's time essentially doesn't say too much for the drug... but it's refreshing to see someone claim actual real result.s

Actually, I do know, I recognize a professional actor when I see one, too many choreographed moves, no hesitation in the talking pattern, over exaggerated, unnatural emotions...

This is 100% an actor and 100% scripted, and likely 100% not genuine.

Just look at the 5 year price history of the Auris Medical stock, EARS, and it will be clear that they have not succeeded yet!

I can see her read, and I can see how she emphasizes what she's saying emotionally, but that doesn't mean an actor. They could've taken someone who wanted to share their story and worked with them to do that. That could've been take 25.

You don't know unless you have proof. Just like we don't know if the drug truly works until evidence from real trials comes out.
