Fullness in Ear — Is It Possible to Disappear?

Good news from you all. I dont have ear disease. Only she said it was a problem of the middle ear (thats when you have acoustic trauma) and not the inner ear (eustachian tubes).

Actually, middle ear is where the Eustachian tube is and the inner ear is where acoustic trauma would mostly like occur. If you have some sort of Eustachian tube problem then your ear fullness will probably come and go. I can't say for certain about acoustic trauma, but most people say it goes away.

I think you got inner ear and middle ear mixed up.

@jjflyman How long did it take for your fullness to go? It irritates me so much right now
I had fullness for about 6 months, then I bought that Eustachian tube exerciser, (I linked it in a previous post)
and it started feeling better within a few times of using it. It's been about 4 months now and I still use it occasionally, but most of the time I don't feel any pressure now. The fullness and pressure can be causing some of your T

I hope my ear fullness goes away too! I've had for a couple weeks now in my right ear. My hearing is 100% and audiologist checked my ear pressure which was also normal.... they think everything is related to my TMJ which im currently treating. It's just a slow process and the plugged up ear feeling is driving me nuts. Was thinking of trying ETD exercises even though i don't have ETD, i know the TMJ can still cause your tubes to dysfunction due to all the swelling in that area.

Same problem. I can make it go away for a bit by opening my ETs though.

@threefirefour yeah me too, only last for like a minute for me though. its weird, when i first wake up its not plugged up, but as the day goes on it gets worse, and then sometimes fluctuates throughout the day. like at 11:30 it was bad and now its not bad. So annoying lol

Do you guys notice your ear fullness goes back and forth often? One morning one side one afternoon the other.

It's been 6 months since my acoustic trauma and the ear fullness hasn't gone anywhere. It's the least of my worries though due to all the other symptoms I was also gifted with on that fateful day.
