I was laying down recently, and sort of absent-mindedly started rolling my eyes (I used to do eye exercises somewhat regularly). I was surprised at how relatively painful it felt to be rolling my eyes, and felt much more sensitive than when I used to do it regularly.
I then suspected the increased sensitivity had to do with my recent onset of tinnitus. So as soon as I went online again, I googled "eye exercises" and tinnitus. The following article is the first one I came up with. I plan to follow up on this more, but thought I'd post this link for anybody who might want to start researching this right away.
