I'm having my surgery tomorrow anything positive or prayers would help me feel better about this. Thanks guys.

I'm having my surgery tomorrow anything positive

The good news is that there is something wrong with your ear that has been identified and you have T, so there is a chance that fixing what's wrong with your ear has a positive impact on your T, either right after surgery, or in the longer run.
Good luck!

Thanks Greg, I'm trying to hopeful like you were. It's hard though. I don't want to go in there with high hopes then come out with it the same or worse. I totally understand what your saying though. I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared shitless.

Is it general or local anesthesia?

Hi Jake,

Sorry to ask this but why do you do this operation ?
It's what my ent said that needs to be done, if I don't I'll have to keep going in and having it microsuctioned to be cleaned. They did that first time I went, it was horrible. This way I won't have to keep going back and having them do that. And I have conductive hearing loss, he said there's a 50/50 chance that he can restore some of my hearing in the first surgery. If not I would have to have another one. But I don't think I'd do another one. I would just get a hearing aid. I'm just scared shitless it's gonna make my T worse. That would be very hard to swallow being in hear it over everything already.

The best thing you can do for now is to stop thinking about a worsening.

Easy to say but it's important that you focus on the positive outcomes ;)

I see that your T is very new for you, from December 2016.

How is it now ? Do you hear it all the time or only in quiet places ?

24/7 hear it over everything. High pitch, deep low Morse code and other noises. It changes alot.
