Hello!
It's been seven months with my single sided hearing loss.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips in learning how to habituate? What is the main area of focus on habituating and what can I do if I live somewhere in the world that lacks quality medical care and resources? Any tips would help... I recently got fitted with a Signia Pure hearing aid and I'm finding that it sometimes maxes out on volume level when I don't expect it. I have recruitment so I'm trying to get my audiologist to tune my aid to try and protect my ear from those uncomfortable sounds that make me dizzy.
