Headphones — Should I Stop Using Them?

Well, we won't be able to agree on that.

In my opinion, the speakers of a hearing aid are incredibly bad compared to headphones because they have to be so small.

That white noise from a hearing aid should be "better"/"safer" than from headphones is, in my opinion, a wrong idea. The eardrum doesn't know if it is hit by sound waves from a hearing aid or headphones.

All the best, too.

Please read my post again @Tinniger. A hearing aid and white noise generator do not use a speaker/diaphragm like a conventional headphone. In addition to this the sound emits from a tiny hole within a plastic tube. This kind of sound does not generate strong sound waves within the ear canal which can irritate the cochlea in the inner ear, unlike a headphone speaker. I say again, a Hearing aid and White noise generator are completely different from a headphone.
