- Cause of Tinnitus
- For me: Aspartame Poisoning. For Ent: L: TMJD / R: Dunno
@Boy Helios laser is quite expensive, dunno for hyperbaric, I have to check. Also what is Vinco? Never heard that
is your T or hearing loss getting better? I remember encouraging you to do the hyperbaric.
Also when you first get T or hearing loss you should research the basic protocol and force your ENT to give you that regimen.

are you doing any treatments now?No it's still the same. It's too late for me. I'm probably hanging myself soon, literally. Not just talking at this point. Life isn't worth it anymore. It is sad but true.
I already have the rope ready. Just got to make it happen.
Eustachain Tube Dysfunction is crazy. it CAUSES T. I got T in my GOOD EAR after doing Hyperbaric. So bad that I had to stop treatment. Your T may be related to ETD. once you unplug your ears T goes away instantly
also WIFI can make T worse.
When I put my ear close to a WIFI router, T increased.
Stay at least 5-10 feet away from the WIFI router.
no. there is no sound anymore. or basically no sound. In other words ... youve habituated...
But it hasnt gone away ...
You can still hear it ...
Your perception of your t has reduced ...
yes. I think noise induced can be cured as well if you catch it early. the hair cells don't die right away, but get severely flattened. I also think it's very complex since people aren't sure if the nerves or actual hair cells are damaged. Nerves can regenerate for the most part. Gingko improves micro-circulation in the ear.
the funny thing is over the last 2 months I still went to clubs and didn't avoid noise. I was careful if the noise was TOO loud but I still exposed myself to sounds. I think that helped.
when I went to hyperbaric I saw some older guys suffering from chronic T and reported great results after about 20 sessions.
@Fangen
It depends if the hair cells are just "hurt" or really died. In the case of Boy Helios that had probably happened, hair cells were just hurt or maybe not. And hearing loss doesn't mean automatically Tinnitus.
In our case, it's an acoustic trauma, so there were "physical" damages.
Really nice that you have mild T, I mean if you only hear it in your bed that's better than nothing. I know we all wish silence back, but you're probably at peace with it cause it is not really intrusive in your daily life. You know what I mean?
I see the difference, between my ears. Left is T that only can be heard when laying in bed, and sometimes in the day but doesn't bother me. Which is not the case of my right, I could hear along the day.
it's not perception. it actually went away basically. But it hasnt gone away ...
You can still hear it ...
Your perception of your t has reduced ...
Like i said ...
It hasnt disappeared ...he can still hear it ..
I also said his perception has reduced in volume ...
Maybe. It depends a lot on the damage, some could have had cells or nerves that died right away and for them, the possibility of recovering is smaller. I tried to take vitamins and stay away from a lot sounds but that didn't help at all. For my case I think I did a lot of damage under the noise trauma rather afterwards, I do believe some cells died afterwards but that was already beyond what I could save. Even if the nerves didn't die all together, even just a few "strings" within the nerv dying off can cause T so yeah, physical damage to the cells and nerves usually don't bounce back. Of course there are exceptions to everything and for some lucky, like you, it can be more or less cured/regenerated. I would like to have silence back but I am not waiting for it. I've made my peace that I will hear this noise the rest of my life, and that help me to let go of a lot of the pain and blame.
yes. It doesn't hurt to take it.
i know for a fact that airplane ear can cause T, so T isn't just caused by hearing loss.
when I got airplane ear from hyperbaric, I had raging T in both ears.. but as my ears unplugged the T went away.
as I said before, get pharma grade Gingko. don't walk into walgreens and get the supplement, most are fake as they are unregulated. Dr. Willmar Schwabe is what I used.
also you might have hearing loss still because the audiogram only goes up to 8,000 hurts. humans hear up to 20K.
the T could be related to >8K hearing loss.
Tinnitus is curable. I am totally convinced.
I suffered from sudden hearing loss 2-3 months back with very loud and high pitched ear ringing.
Did the steroid regimen, gingko, vincopetene, hyperbaric in the initial 2-3 weeks.
the tinnitus lingered for awhile, but went away as my hearing recovered.
the tinnitus is basically 95%-99% gone.
Doctors are full of crap when they say hearing loss/tinnitus is irreversible.
Keep up hope and maintain DISCIPLINE.
yes for me it was within 4-5 months. It took that long to cure it.
when I first made this thread it was about 95% gone. I could hear some sounds in complete silence, but over the last few days even that is gone.
I actually credit pharma grade GINGKO BILOBA
It's been about 10 months now and I can say I've recovered fully.
maybe .5% faint sounds in total silence, but i'm sure everyone has that
Really??
My Tinniuts
started coincidently
after sitting next to a WiFi Router.....mmm sospicious
God bless you. It was probably the steroids that did the miracle.Tinnitus is curable. I am totally convinced.

now why isn't there more effort to treat hearing loss outside of an acute phase?Tinnitus is curable. I am totally convinced.
