Help Me Troubleshoot My Music Distortion

I have good days and bad days. Some days it kicks my butt (like today). I wouldn't say improved but it's changed. I am handling it a little better but it's still very hard.

And you've had it for 5 years? Man, that is tough to hear. :(

James, may I ask how it has changed? I am also suffering from hearing distortion 20 days after an incident. It is driving me mad because white noise like air conditioning sounds like tinnitus tones. Therefore although my actual tinnitus in silence is not severe, my experience of life has been materially impacted because I am always hearing whistling sound effects etc... It is simply draining...

Fuck this shit. No more suffering or living in fear or not being able to enjoy such a simple pleasure as music. Sick of my only options being to protect and habituate, we are all prisoners of H. When's the regenerative cure coming?

Music sounds too distorted to enjoy now and it hurts my ears... that was one of my number one hobbies before tinnitus and hyperacusis... There are so many songs I want to listen to but now can't, and maybe never again. This sucks man.

I'm like you, except I don't have any distortion. Whenever I try to listen to some music it feels almost OK for a few minutes but then it start to "tickle" or whatever in my left ear and finally it turns into a burning sensation that will last for a while..
Trying to accept now that music in all forms may be lost forever..
Take care.
