I started hearing an occasional whoosh in my head about a year ago. It's not necessarily in my ear but more behind, below them... it's hard to pinpoint.

After finding Tinnitus Talk, reading posts, etc... I realize I'm not going crazy! I've learned to live with the tinnitus... After raising (still raising) lots of kids, it's just another noise. But these whooshes... yikes. I try to describe it to my hubby and he says I'm losing my mind one child at a time. But I'm not!!! It's a Thing a real Thing... I'm so happy!

Hello. It is real and there are a lot of different sounds, but it's all tinnitus. Noise is #1 of tinnitus, but again #2 others makes up the rest. Mine is head tinnitus. It does get better, but it does take a while. There is plenty to read and you will see our difference, but we are all tinnitus. Have a better day.
