Well, I've listened since the 80's but back then it was much more casual. I had some mixtapes I got at K-Mart with everything from The Super Bowl Shuffle to Slick Rick and Dougie Fresh on them and I had some Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff albums lol.

In 1995-96 is when I really got into it as a teenager.
