how did I miss this thread??!!

I always cook "one pot" meals, such as Chili, soup, casseroles, etc. My crockpot has been replaced several times over the years, lol.

Lately I have been enjoying noodle bowls with rice noodles, veggie broth, broccoli, fresh mushrooms, onions and kale. I do cheat and buy the broth, rather than make my own. My favorite is the all organic veggie broth that is low in sodium, I like to be able to control the amount of salt I use.

I will take a photo of my next creation. ;)

Look forward to this Emma, you can beat rice noddles with broth, they may look like dirty dish water but tastes so good.

Ok I made a baked chocolate, vanilla, nutmeg cheesecake with a toffee topping. I also made fried crispy chicken with broccoli fried rice and curry but I didn't take pics because well I'm a idiot haha I will take pictures next time. It was the first time I've made fried crispy chicken and it was amazing.

Your cake looks lovely, and so delicious, @Kotve. The fresh raspberries add such delicate touch, beautiful.

Chocolate cake is one of my favorites. Here is a recipe that I have been using for a very long time....

The next time I make one, I will post a photo.

What better way to celebrate Tinnitus Talk than stuffing our faces!

I'm a single man, and I cook things like instant coffee, salad (cucumber + tomatoes + salt), and boiled fish. ;)

If you are trying to lose weight, please don't attempt the recipe below!

As a kid, I had a chance to taste Plombir (Пломбир) ice cream in Moscow in the 1980s. It wasn't sold outside of Moscow and it was so special that I still remember its taste all of those years later. According to several online sources, they don't sell ice cream like that any longer even in the present-day Moscow. In any case, last week I attempted to recreate the taste and I achieved partial success!

The closest ice cream to Plombir ice cream that I found was Breyer's French Vanilla ice cream. It's the richest-tasting ice cream at my grocery store, but it isn't as rich as 1980s Plombir. So I mixed this ice cream with 33% cream [one part partially thawed (to allow it to mix well with the cream) Breyer's French Vanilla ice cream to one part of the 33% cream]. The result tasted better than the two ingredients on their own (the ice cream tasted richer, and it got less sweet which is a good thing), and it came close to tasting like Plombir ice cream. Enjoy!

Your take on the Plombir ice cream sounds delicious.

I don't have a photo of something that I've cooked, but here's something that I've grown! This is my first cucumber. Mom and I just had to cover up the cucumber plant because the first frost is coming tomorrow in my state. We're hoping that the cucumber plant won't die.

I didn't do anything fancy with the cucumber. It was sliced and my mom and I ate it with ranch dressing as a part of dinner tonight. The cucumber tasted fresh and crisp. Absolutely delicious!

I'm attaching a picture of the cucumber slices. Eating something that I grew on my own was very exciting and made me feel accomplished. This was a bright spot in my day. :D

Fellow food lovers! Check out some of my recent food adventures! Since it was very cold here this winter I decided to leave the BBQ to hibernate for the winter and started making some sourdough bread! Took me a while to get the hang of it because I was learning from scratch, but I think I got a decent loaf down. Check them out!

Here are some peanut butter cookies! Due to acid reflux issues I had to change it up from my favorite chocolate chip recipe. They came out pretty good!

I'll end it with some pizza from my wood fire pizza oven!

Lucky! I want an air fryer, but my girlfriend says I have enough "gadgets". Haha! I hope you are doing well Once!

@Jack Straw I tried my new air fryer. AMAZING!
Hahaha, you have to beg your girlfriend to let you have one.

I cooked a whole roasted chicken and it was moist and super soft. So delicious.
Next time I'll take pics. :p

Here's another one of my gadgets... LOL. My pizza maker.
Home made dough, mozzarella cheese, sauce, fresh garlic and basil. (y)

Omg looks so good! Those pizza cookers are so cool too!

Tinnitus Talk pizza party! Haha.

Let me see some of your cooking gadgets.
A short list of my favorites are:

Sous vide
Kamado Joe (smoker/grill/oven)
Ice cream maker
Electric grill
Weber Smokey Mountain

I want to get something called an Ooni Pizza oven. They are really cool and get up to like 900 degrees!

Looks amazing. You're making me hungry again.

No way, I've just been looking at some air fryers.
Air Fryers make food look so good and are such a good health alternative to frying. I know it is just a super convection oven, but it is still cool nonetheless.

All super cool, Jack.

Do you find yourself using the Sous vide often?
Oh, and which ice cream maker do you have? I've always wanted to get one, but was always inclined to think that they "don't work"? :p

Here's another favorite gadget.
I use this one often and love it!
