How Do You Find Forgiveness When Your Tinnitus Was Caused by Another Person/Source?

Obviously I'm not a doctor, but it could just be your middle ear muscles being sensitive from what you were doing. Doesn't necessarily mean damage has been done.

Hopefully the ENTs looked closely enough and were competent. You can always get another opinion, up to you.

Seriously go easy on yourself. Don't stress so much, because it's not good either. Some people have gotten tinnitus from stress, believe it or not. I put widely available over the counter earwax drops in my ears, felt it get stuck in my ear (behind the wax I guess), shook my head side to side, and freaked out a bit and that's what triggered mine.

Relax, wait and see. Many people get tinnitus and have it go away. It's way too early for you to jump to conclusions.
Perhaps. I had some sensitivity to loud sounds before getting tinnitus, so maybe a year long break from headphones and loud places will help. Right now the distortion of sounds/ear fullness (hyperacusis?) are worse than the tinnitus itself.

Forgiveness happens over time. Most likely the people/sources who caused your tinnitus did not mean to cause it, so you have to remember that.

I agree. Forgiveness does take time. Sometimes, a very long time.

Bad or sad memories can retain an emotional charge to the point that we re-feel and react emotionally to them every time they come to mind. Depending on the nature of them and degree of emotional discomfort and suffering they cause will determine to a large degree how long it takes to not be adversely affected by them.

Perhaps it is only time that can make those memories fade to the point where we can forgive. Whether it be ourselves or someone else.

When I see a doctor now, I see them as someone who I manipulate to get the desired result I want. I usually know what I want and steer them into giving it to me.

Everything they recommend or prescribe that I'm unsure of, I question, scrutinise and research extensively before committing to. Hence most things I've ignored or prescriptions have gone into the trash.

It's a pity though. Prior to all this I had never had a bad experience with a doctor and that's why I was so trusting. Never again.
Yeah, but the emphasis is on when you see a doctor NOW. All too late. For both you, me and many others.

I'm never going to forgive.

I know this will make things harder for me to live a 'better' life now though.
