I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

There was a guy years ago on Action on Hearing Loss forums who claimed he found the cure for tinnitus.

He had noise induced tinnitus and used a SCENAR from Russia.
After 2 weeks or so after the noise trauma it cleared up but he was convinced it was the SCENAR.

He went by the name of Zephiloyd and said he called the beams of the SCENAR Zephils. When I tried explaining that a lot of tinnitus after trauma can go away in 2 weeks he had none of it.

He never actually cured tinnitus, but what he did do was gain a lot of followers, like on YouTube I think it was on 250,000 views.
Well he has 362 followers now so I'm afraid he lost a few, he also deleted the voting on his video. I don't really see the connection with David's file but thanks for the story.

That's not what is happening here. Many try making excuses to explain away why Tinnitus Mix works, I have too much evidence for it to be explained away. The 440 people with tinnitus just happened to stop when they played Tinnitus Mix... don't think so. This is new technology and it works.

I think after seeing the persistence of David staying on here trying to share his sound mix for free, even after so much harsh treatment by some members, one has to take his word for what it is. He said he had bad tinnitus for 3 years and after using this sound mix his tinnitus has been knocked off for the last 18 years. We all know what residual inhibition is. Playing sounds of similar frequency of our tinnitus can cause temporary relief from our tinnitus. But the key is that it is temporary, for seconds, minutes, a day or a few days, but not months or years.

So is David's sound mix just another spin of residual inhibition? How do we then explain the long termed effect then?
Well Neuromod is now attacking me on Facebook, I guess it's just a matter of time before they send people here to post against me.Thank god I have friends to defend me!!

Well I'm 100 percent sure it worked for me and I would like to thank you for that but the question is for how long?
As I said everyone is different, even with same diagnosis there could be a difference in results. That's why I am here to find out why some report their tinnitus goes away permanently and some must use Tinnitus Mix once in a while as maintenance. The main reason I use the word cure is the dramatic results before and after, many say I saved their lives.

Neuromod is attacking you? You honestly believe I work for Neuromod and want to discredit your 'work'?

C'mon please, this is tin foil hat stuff.

Also, can you please get your photo off, thank you.

It amazes me how many on this board are attacking David without even having tried the Tinnitus Mix.

Why not try it for three weeks and then come back here to share experiences. The only three who actually used it including me have had good results, what is so hard to believe about this?

For me it helped especially for the head tinnitus, it has been a week now since I listened to it and it wasn't until today I had a short episode coming back on top of my normal tinnitus. I only listened for two weeks so i probably should try it again but can't due to work.

Anyway this was the longest time since having tinnitus for a year without the head tinnitus (3 weeks in total).

I normally have it every other day for hours so I'm 100 percent it did something for me as it also lowered my ear tinnitus while using it as well.

I will surely try it again when I have my next days off from work.

Unless you are Paul Truffle Shuffle Evans, I don't see why you would be upset? I personally have not been on Facebook tinnitus for months.

I think it's great that people are working on tinnitus relief with different methods. It gives us hope instead of being stuck in a misery state of mind.

I need to get a head sock or a elastic band to keep my headset on as I tried David's sound mix again last night. I woke up to my nasty static hiss again. I can't keep a headset on. I keep forgetting to wear my TMJ/sleep apnea appliance also.

@R. David Case, I see you live in Van Buren, Missouri. I'm in southern MN and we have way too much snow here. You are far enough south to have mild winters I suppose.
Yes, most winters are mild, this is paradise. When it's hot we go to this waterfall and fish and have a picnic. The old grinding mill is still there. On the current river there is a cave level with the water, when we get hot I drive my boat into the cave for ozark air conditioning...lol

Sure I am glad people are working on stopping tinnitus, just don't try to stop me from helping people by destroying my credibility so they can make a profit!!

That's great, I am glad you stuck around and maybe you can help others who are reluctant... It's not like your head fell off.. It reduced your tinnitus. This works on many people!!

I don't recall doing that myself. I haven't properly tested it yet. Maybe you were referring to someone else?

You have sound induced tinnitus, why don't you try it instead of calling me a nut. As Brian Douglas you have an interest in this not working.

Yea you need to complete 3 weeks in a row for best results, you are on your way to a tinnitus free life!!

Because of this:

Playing this today. I started off with mild tinnitus this morning, it seems worse just now. @gorzakus - when you wake up in the morning, how is your tinnitus?
I could only tolerate about two seconds of this before I had to turn the player off. It's like the audio equivalent of wasabi.

Also, there's a qualify of life issue that people here aren't considering. Everybody's life is nothing but their accumulated memories. That includes their audio stream. So much of the suffering of tinnitus for me, over 25 years, is because my memory is like the mirror sequence in The Last Jedi. I have memories of memories of memories of memories of memories of hearing tinnitus. What benefit to my life is there by having to constantly expose myself to a tone that is actually as annoying or even worse than tinnitus for hours on end, pretty much indefinitely in the hopes of relief in between? Before long all I'm going to do is have memories of memories of memories of memories of the shrillest modem-like sound imaginable. I can't tune that sh*t out the same way I can environmental white noise like rain or the beach.

I was thinking that - so I get rid of the tinnitus, but I have to listen to this constantly, which is actually worse than my tinnitus.

I will soldier on for a while yet.

Well I can only speak for myself but my tinnitus is actually more fluctuating and harder to listen to than this Tinnitus Mix. I guess everyone's tinnitus is different.
Also three weeks is definitely not indefinitely. I can understand a lot can't listen to this file but the ones who can are having some positive results.
