I've been diagnosed with middle ear myoclonus, but I suspect I have Eustachian tube issues as well. This has been going on for roughly 6 months. The ENT who diagnosed me with it never even scoped me, and while they did a tympanogram that came back normal you can still have Eustachian Tube problems. I'm getting sick of being told "it's that" and no one even bothering to investigate the actual issue.
For all I know I can have mild palatal myoclonus, I'm having weird sensations around that area even if there's no visible movement. It's possible. I'm at my wits end. I'm having to take sleeping pills for even mild relief and am extremely depressed. No one in the medical profession seems concerned.
I don't care where in the Midwest, but if anyone knows of a doctor who ACTUALLY CARES please recommend them.
