Is Imidapril Hydrochloride (Tanatril) a Safe Antihypertensive Medication?

I'm suffering from high blood pressure for few years. Recently I've taken some efforts to lose weight that has resulted in 3kg drop.

Is that option (tanatril) good for hearing? I don't want to deteriorate my already problematic tinnitus caused by acoustic trauma.
