Is It Possible Amitriptyline Could Make Ears More Sensitive?

I tried Amitriptyline.
I just felt sick, no positive influence on my T.
Other people said they experienced different effects of Amitriptyline, which shows just how different our bodies are.

@Anna V.
Amitriptyline and Nortriptyline are two antidepressant that can help reduce tinnitus for some people.
I have not heard it can make your ears more sensitive but thats not to say it can.
Love glynis x

Hm. Thanks all. It was in the context of relief of neurological discomfort, which I understand it's prescribed for a bit too. But same stuff. Thanks for replies.

Quite the opposite in my case.

H started reducing after day 1 and continued to do so. After two weeks I can now tolerate boiling kettles, washing up and family conversation which previously I could not.

My T is much the same though I had one morning when I couldn't detect it at all for two hours.

I guess the answer to the effectiveness of this drug as in so many cases is "it varies". Really happy to have my H reduced!
