I joined this forum on januari 2018.I believe that was when tinnitus was driving me crazy. Tinnitus started for me in 2016 when I was exposed to a loud hammering noise.
Now I can say that I'm not bothered by it anymore. When I concentrate on it I can hear it so it's still there.
But I don't notice it anymore.
The thing that helped was the "Back to Silence "method that is being explained on this forum.
To anyone in despair ( probably new tinnitus sufferers) check it out. It works. At least for me it did.
I followed the method explained in the video.
I've practiced the method a couple of times when it came back again but each time the succes was there and stayed there for a longer time.
The last time I did it is maybe a year ago.
It is something I can go back to if the tinnitus would get worse.
It won't cost you anything. Just a piece of paper and a pencil.
Good luck.
