Loud Bang Sound Waking Me Up — Exploding Head Syndrome?

Me too. Let's see the tinnitus authorities explain that!

The tinnitus authorities don't even discuss the floater/visual disturbance isssues so many of us got from this shit. Where does the BTA/ATA even mention that T will fuck your eyes up too?

I really don't understand why we never hear about other symptoms when it comes to tinnitus. The Visual Snow Initiative lists visual as well as non-visual symptoms.

Non-Visual Symptoms of Visual Snow:
  • Ringing, humming, or buzzing sounds (Tinnitus)
  • Feeling detached from yourself (Depersonalization)
  • Symptoms of anxiety and/or depression
  • Frequent migraines, brain fog, and confusion
  • Dizziness and nausea
  • Insomnia and other sleep-related issues
  • Tingling sensations in legs and arms, accompanied by general pain throughout body
But you would never see that for tinnitus! If you mention any other symptoms, it's just a sign you're neurotic. (At least from my personal experience. I've seen so many people with tinnitus say that they're nauseous, dizzy, experience physical pain but that it usually gets brushed off by doctors as just stress or anxiety).

Unfortunately we still live in a world where the approved medical solution for tinnitus is to downplay the shit out of it and make sufferers feel like whiny timewasters whilst further weakening them with awful pharma drugs and then blame those for their demise and death. Just like our very own Danny Boy.

When I had severe ear infection and in the background the ringing hissing I knew what was going on. Went to my gp he looked in the ear replied I see nothing. Oh he'll its my imagination that's the impression he gave me. Never once did he mention antibiotic. So now three years later still ringing. Point being most doctors do not understand tinnitus or they don't care. Then when the exploding head syndrome started and I didn't know what the fuck was going on I went to see the gp again. I may as well have been talking to the wall so then I researched it and found its benign and what causes it. He'll I could be a doctor

That's how I feel when I go to the doc! They make you feel like you're the crazy one. You're better off just diagnose yourself. Doctors doesn't want to understand.
