I really don't understand why we never hear about other symptoms when it comes to tinnitus. The Visual Snow Initiative lists visual as well as non-visual symptoms.
Non-Visual Symptoms of Visual Snow:
- Ringing, humming, or buzzing sounds (Tinnitus)
- Feeling detached from yourself (Depersonalization)
- Symptoms of anxiety and/or depression
- Frequent migraines, brain fog, and confusion
- Dizziness and nausea
- Insomnia and other sleep-related issues
- Tingling sensations in legs and arms, accompanied by general pain throughout body
But you would never see that for tinnitus! If you mention any other symptoms, it's just a sign you're neurotic.
