Hello
@CrystalB. Everyone's tinnitus is different. I have a friend with H and my heart goes out to you. I do not have that and from what she has said, it can be very difficult.
A lot of the time, the cause of someone's tinnitus is never known. You have probably seen posts from some of us who have had tinnitus for as long as they can remember. The "fullness' as you refer to is is fairly common as I have seen multiple posts here with people mentioning similar symptoms.
There may be some good news. As your tinnitus is fairly new, you have a chance of recovery.
@Bill Bauer wrote the following post discussing studies that show a fairly high recovery rate from tinnitus:

Also, as you may have already gathered from reading this forum, many people do get better within a couple years. So hold on to hope.
If you have not yet, may I recommend seeking out posts by
@Michael Leigh. He has written a number of posts that I believe may be applicable to your situation:

Another point I would like to make is the importance of maintaining a positive attitude.
@billie48 wrote his success story demonstrating how positivity helped him habituate.

Michael Leigh wrote the following, excellent post on the importance of positivity:

and the following on negativity and tinnitus

Have you considered a sound machine? Many here have had success with their use helping them to sleep. There are also apps available for phones that produce a variety of white, pink, or brown noise that may help mask your tinnitus.
May I ask what it is that you do for a living? Is it possible to wear hearing protection to help with your H? Most good companies will try to be accommodating to the medical needs of their employees.
I hope that you find some help here. Please keep us updated on your progress. I hope that you recover, or at least habituate soon.
