This is exciting news. The treatment modality is promising for tinnitus, and this year I tried to find a practitioner--but I could not locate one within two hours of my house. And since I'd be going twice a week, I'd have to quit my job to undertake the therapy. I need to find someone closer.
Neurofeedback does not work for everyone. There are several variables, including skill of the practitioner and tinnitus duration. But the treatment is also relatively new for tinnitus and thus it is too early to know how well it will work for the average--however that is defined--tinnitus sufferer.
When do you start treatment? How frequently will you go? How many sessions will it last? How many people have they treated with tinnitus before? What is the cost?
And, of course, please keep us informed about your progress!
Two years ago, we had someone report about trying neurofeedback and he never came back. One can only assume he was cured!
