Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) for Tinnitus — Experiences (Dr. Wilden, etc.)

The konfec is way too weak to have any effect at all and you have to wear this for hours that's no fun

I think that Wilden home laser is the least Powerful - the lucky is not in this slide

I'm confused. Is Konfec too weak but is more powerful than the laser Wilden sells which seemingly has the best results of any listed in this thread?

@attheedgeofscience do you have an opinion on the Konfec? The price is right and to my (perhaps uneducated on this topic) mind should yield the same results.

The guy who posted his improved audiogram after his Wilden session was at his clinc where he uses a far more powerful laser with a different wavelength .

The Wilden home device is more like a toy due to safety and regulations reasons as its done without supervision .

Like I said , build your own LED device and you will not only save money but also get a far more powerful device which will work much better at improving H and Hearing range - unfortunately T is a lot harder to fix unless this device is used in the few days after trauma , perhaps .

all the info is in this thread guys

This is a 52 page thread; it's easy to miss stuff. As I understand it you own a lucky laser. While I feel we've discussed this, I'm not sure on what thread so I'd really appreciate it if you could let me and others know.

Did you buy the lucky laser through their website? It seems others bought it directly. There are quite a few people that feel uncomfortable purchasing such a large ticket item through a site that seems so.... unprofessional. That said - it does seem to be best bang for buck.

I appreciate any assistance,
Tom

@Tom Cnyc If people always ask the same questions the thread gets more and more confusing. With the search function within the thread you should easily and fast find everything you need.

@FERNANDO GIL Have you already made a new audiogram? If I remember correctly you started llt 2 years ago?

So you added a post to say that extra posts are a problem. Got it. Makes a lot of sense.

That said I too am curious about his audio gram.

There is no such thing as head tinnitus IMO, it's just stereo so you have the impression as it would come from the center. Same effect tje earphones have.

Here is a clinic in Sarasota, Florida offering phototherapy for inner ear treatment. The website suggests that the protocol followed is that of Dr. Amon Kaiser.

Here is another link with some videos, including a conversation between Amon Kaiser and John Lieurance, the LLLT practitioner in Florida:

http://functionalcranialrelease.com/2011/10/menieres-corrected-laser-therapy/

And, the text on the website includes:

"Dr. John Lieurance is the first and only doctor ever to be trained in the use of laser therapy in this fashion outside of Germany."

This text in combination with the video would suggest that Dr. John appears to be the "real deal" in terms of having been trained by Amon Kaiser and following his approach to laser therapy for inner ear disorders. So, for people in the United States who have been interested in visiting either Dr. Wilden or Dr. Kaiser but cannot do so because of the cost of trans-Atlantic travel (not to mention the impact of a long flight on tinnitus) and lodging, there now seem to be a good option stateside.

I'm really confused. The Konftec laser seems more powerful than the Wilden's one, but people seem to get result only with Wilden's.

The Konftec is a lot cheaper, I don't know what to buy.

I wouldn't waste my time with those very low power laser units - those won't give any results ...you read what the clinics use : 25,000mw pulsed not 60mw

For under 200 usd you can build your own high power LED unit which can be 25w if needed and which is a lot more effective, and requires shorter time too - is far easier in the long run.

I can't imagine using such a high powered laser. I just started using Wildens home laser and it get really really, I mean really warm inside my ears. Like radiates all over. I also had a friend that had a chiropractor use a high powered LLLT laser for their TMJ and damaged the nerves and made the condition worse. So be careful about all these high powered recommendations. These are simple things like supplement recommendations we shouldn't try, these are lazzzzer beams were sticking inside of our earsssssss.

Another thing people often don't mention about Wildens laser and its price, is guidance. That price includes guidance from a medical doctor who actually knows what they are talking doubt. And not just any doctor. A leader in the field, at your disposal, for the ownership of the device.

the warmth of the laser you feel is the heat of the actual laser device touching your skin -not the laser beam.
I use 650nm at 120mw and there is absoluteley no heat.
Try it at a distance over other parts of your skin

His site is VERY poorly made - it makes me wonder about him. Misspellings, poor formatting, doesn't list an address. I do want to believe, but...

Advanced Rejuvenation
2033 Wood Street, Suite 210
Sarasota, Florida 24237

I have not been to see him, so I know nothing about him, that address is from the website under "Contact Us / New Patient Paperwork" - printed on the first form attachment listed.

yeah - I found that after posting. He also has a more professional site under that name. http://advancedrejuvenation.us/

I still am somewhat bothered by a few simple formatting things and certain language. Videos with titles like "secrets they don't want you to know".... feels like click bait

If anyone is interested, I just received Dr. Wilden's laser in the mail to treat my hearing loss/tinnitus. Here is my latest audiogram. Feel free to message me, if you'd like. I start the treatment tonight.

@briano
It looks like noise damage. The same with my audiogram. Also NIHL. My NIHL is worse but shows loss at the same frequencies.
I will be following your progress.

4 Months ago I started my LLLT.
I am using the Lucky Laser. 20 minutes every day. Alternating between two wavelenghts.
I never expected improvement in hearing. I started the LLLT to see if I could get hyperacusis improvement. So far no improvement.
Don't let this discourage you.
