Cause of Tinnitus
Not Sure
Hey everyone,

I'm going to get off the forum for a while. I think my brain needs to stay away for a bit.

My anxiety is kicking my ass lately and I keep getting those stupid fleeting tinnitus episodes.

Also I think going to so many doctors with in the last couple months and not improvement is messing with me.

If I don't come back to the forum I want everyone to know you're awesome people and thanks for the help over the past 7 months!

Take care Mike L,
We are always here for you anytime.
Hope your getting help and support with anxiety and maybe low mood.....lots of love glynis

Hmmm... as late as this week, you were explaining to others how you had habituated:
Eventually you will harden yourself to it. Whether it goes away or not. You will get to the point where you won't give a shit about it, but you have to let it happen.

I understand your worry and I've been there.

You will get better most of us do and there is a million people who had/have T who used to be on the forum and left because they are much better now.
And now you are telling this community that you - yourself - are not getting better. Have you heard about what is often called "false hope"?

@foryourinfo I think he's trying his best. Tinnitus takes us on an up-and-down journey. Let's just hand over a little grace to him and wish him the best. We've all been there. And also, let's all keep some REAL hope alive. Hope pulls us forward and has a good purpose. <3

My T isn't bugging me its my tmj and jaw issue. My Tmj was doing great and now its flaring up again with new pains.

Sorry I didn't explain that well.

No need to get defensive and make those kind of accusation. I think you may have deeper issues if you felt the need to find some older post of mine to compare to this one.

Also my anxiety, tmj and some negative posts are what's driving me away from here.

I can't stay habituated reading things that make me depressed and anxious.

Not so fast. The quote I mentioned was taken from the section called "Success Stories". Read the entire thread which starts with this quote:
Hey everyone!

It's time to feel better its time to live your life. Do not let tinnitus kick your ass. You have it inside you to move on and make a life for yourself. Straight up fuck tinnitus its just a damn word. Make it whatever you want and re-name it. I have T pretty damn loud and I go to work and come home finally a normal feeling person. It took a while but I habituated to the point to where in honestly do not give two shits about T. Please I am telling you it will either go away or you will habituate to the point where it is like its suppose to be there and you will not be bothered by it. Please give it time and you will heal I promise!!!

Like I wrote, the post was taken from this week - Tuesday to be exact. That's just 3 days ago. Not exactly an old post, right?

You wrote you have problems with fleeting tinnitus (that's not TMJ - is it?):
My anxiety is kicking my ass lately and I keep getting those stupid fleeting tinnitus episodes.

So much false hope here.

Mike wish you the best and hope your issues get better and yes you wont stay well reading some of these negative post. I try to help people on here and get criticized for being to positive so im not to far behind you taking a little vacation from this forum..

I think we just saw a perfect example of why he wants to leave this negativity behind him. I wish you well and hopefully you wont have to come back cuz ur t will be gone!

This is hard enough of a situation without giving him grief.
I don't think it is about giving the OP grief or not. It is about all those who read his success story, and, who then happen to see his next post. How do you think it makes those people feel???

Perhaps the posters in this thread should consider picking up a copy of "The Emperor's New Clothes".

People who -unsuccesfully- operate under different aliasses on this board *really* have some issues..
Maybe one of the long-term side-effects of stem cell therapy gone wrong?

Mike have a good rest and look forward in supporting you and you supporting others when you return as that's what the forum is for Support!!....lots of love glynis

I bet you're fun at parties.
Well, well, well........ seems to me you complained about the "false-hope"-problem yourself??????
I think these threads are inherently flawed, mainly due to how many people say they're OK, but are still checking into this site. You guys are a great support for me at the moment - but I won't be saying I'm OK and still logging in here frequently.

happy to be facebook friends... but this? habituated should mean you dont think about this all day. no?

I do not need to worry about whether I am fun or not at parties. I don't go. Too many fake people you see.

You don't understand the difference? You're being a proper c*nt to one person in particular.

This how you get off?

Saturday night's entertainment for a Troll.....
Mike have a lovely break .Take care....lots of love glynis

@foryourinfo Dude this forum is for people with compassion to help each other .....Give the guy a break what ever he chooses to do is his choice support him don't tear him down.
No one knows the battle each one of us faces ..

Wow, wtf is wrong with you? Snarky much?

This is one of the reasons I enjoy moderated forums. They take out the trash often.

How is it that this guy is allowed to post here with impunity, creating new accounts just to attack others. Perhaps he should seek some help. @Markku
Seems clear that he created this account strictly to respond to this poster.
