Miss Reading a Book So Much

It does take the enjoyment out of it, but I know it gets a bit easier with practice.

I felt proud I just finished a book! Started it on Sunday and finished it today! It's a miracle and I'll take it. Normally I would have ate that in one day, but it's okay! I'm just happy I had some enjoyment in it and actually wanted to read it.

That's a huge plus, happy you finished it. I can see some improvement from where I was to now... I'll take it and keep moving forward.

That happened to me almost four years ago. I read mysteries and non fiction. I was in a book club. I checked out books at the library at least twice a month. I fell in my backyard and broke my tibia, right at the knee. I was laid up for a couple of months. Talk about depressing. But to this day I still cannot read a whole book.

I can watch my favorite shows but I can't watch the news. I sream from Netflix and britbox. For some reason British mysteries always calm me down. I enjoy youtube also.

Have you watched peeky blinders? That's a really good show, I'd recommend that.

Can't read a book? I can't even watch the f***ing TV anymore.

Yeah. I get you. I forced myself to keep following and watching shows and it's quite a bit better. Though again I don't just vanish into the show like I use to. Not to mention usually when I sit for a movie my T is waiting to drown it out.

Still I find myself enjoying TV/Movies more than before.
