I have the money and a set of faulty ears.

Sign me up to this when it launches.
My hope is that this buzzes internally (to the head and neck community), then gets a good spread afterwards on news outlets. Buzz words like "breakthrough" and "revolutionary" are hopefully going to be used (even if this isn't the holy grail).

No matter what, I'm picking this thing up as soon as possible, even if it doesn't work.

All this is fine and looks promising... Just release the dang thing already!!!
They're definitely not releasing it until long after these conferences. I presume the whole point of these talks is to get interested partners on board to flog the thing. I don't think any of us are actually getting this on our tongues for another year.

Not arguing with you're viewpoint @Bam, but I believe Avicii was struggling with the symptoms of pancreatitis as a result of a predisposition to the effects of heavy alcohol consumption. In its chronic phases a miserable disease which like tinnitus, has no treatment or cure. Nevertheless demonstrating that a physical condition can drive one to seek their ultimate demise.

As for Chris and Chester, who knows, you may be right.
Purely my opinion but Chester was abused as a child and felt like he didn't deserve to live once his friend with seemingly more talent than him ended his life. Chris Cornell had pure demons all his life. I doubt any of those 3 had tinnitus and I'd bet money none of them killed themselves because of tinnitus.

Veteran suicides on the other hand I'd speculate maybe 50 percent are tinnitus related.

I heard that his wife pushed him over the edge by threatening to take the kids.

Conferences are also leveraged to announce new items. Pretty normal.

Yeah I think limited summer release is a best case scenario.
Pretty depressive...

Well in his final phone call to his wife half an hour before he died he was complaining about not being able to hear on stage and having problems with his 'in-ears' so make of that what you will.

This is still a positive step forward. Three presentations in less than two months. I like that they are out there attempting to get people on board. I live in a decent size US city, but I'm sure I'll still have to travel to get my hands on this once available. The more that get on board the better.

Agreed. These are all good signs. Keeping my hopes up!

If that is correct, it may still be for a U.S. launch as these talks are in the U.S.; Ireland/Europe launch should be sooner.

Oh who noticed that LaGuinn "Not A Problem" Sherlock of the ATA is chairing one of the conferences. Just an aside.

Coming into a Neuromod thread with no release date yet.

Maybe I could sneak into the February 28th presentation in Scottsdale AZ and get the low-down.
Dress up like maintenance personnel and you're golden.
No idea. People got their hopes up earlier about January and then it didn't happen, maybe that's why?
Ya I don't know. I'm anxiously waiting results like everyone else but people keep throwing out guesses muddling up the whole thing.

If they are making US presentations it makes me think they got fast tracked by the FDA.

Whatever happens, it saves me a trip across the Atlantic to the UK or Ireland. Hoping for Canadian/US launch at the same time.

If not, I'm still buying plane tickets day one and just going to Europe to buy it. But saving me the cost of 2 plane tickets there and back would be nice.

The data from the more recent trial must be phenomenal if they're willing to make this many presentations in the US this month.

In-ear monitors. Have you seen the footage of his last gig? He sounded like utter shit. He was on a lot of medications because basically his mental health was collapsing, as was his ability to perform or sing.

Sad. I lost a lot of cilia listening to Audioslave way too loud in my car. God I miss those days.

They just announced it on their Twitter account as well.
I'm starting to intensely dislike Neuromod. If I could buy their device from anyone but them I would be delighted.

Come on China! Rough estimate you have about a billion tinnitus sufferers knocking about the place... Surely you can come up with a cheap knock off for £50 on Amazon?
