I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with tinnitus. It can be frustrating, especially when it affects your sleep.I get clicking sounds when I yawn or swallow, mostly on the left side where the tinnitus emanates from.
I managed to get three hours sleep last night after taking Zopiclone.
This torture has to end. I saw a specialist last week and am now being referred to a super-duper specialist, although not holding out any hope.
P.S.
One of the many health professionals I've seen in the last year has put me forward for physiotherapy. What kind of physiotherapy is there for Middle Ear Myoclonus?
Cheers.
Have you tried any relaxation exercises?
I know it's hard to get motivated with only three hours of sleep, but try avoiding medication and watching your sodium intake. Stay positive - your brain will adapt, and the ringing will become less bothersome over time.
Do you have any days where it's a little better than others?
Also, consider taking quality fish oil pills - Xtend Life has the best brand on the market. Take two a day; it's worth a try and good for the ear.
