Dont wanna jinx it but I've had a pretty significant noise reduction the past week and my sound sensitivity is getting much better. Hopefully the trend continues! Just kidding, ears are still jacked

You know, some people - like the guy in the article - indeed are not desperate for treatment. Maybe his T is mild (quiet, low pitch etc), who knows.

Problem is tinnitus is treated as a monolith when it's ANYTHING but.

Remove input - go from no tinnitus to having tinnitus
Add input - ?????????????

How many people are left that really don't think treating hearing loss will reduce tinnitus?

Okay I have a controversial view why we don't have a hearing loss/tinnitus treatment and there are exceptions.

The older generation's expected life to suck, they lack critical thinking and have a submissive attitude as well as they are inclined to believe this is a test from God.

They view tinnitus, hearing loss problems ect as if God or a religious/higher power is at play guiding them on a journey to over come a life challenge. Both Western and Eastern philosophy/religion teach that life is suppose to suck and ultimate meaning bullshit. Mental toughness is pretty much a dishonest alternative to being depressed.

The American Tinnitus Association is silent on this issue, pun intended.

my memes go back much futher.

2010 was when normies were hijacking memes, creativity of actually using photoshop/video editing was reduced just to adding image captions. I like image captions but meme culture is way to centric around it.

I think image captions have taken over because they're low-effort, high-yield.

image captions have been around for a very long time, probably before the internet the concept existed in art.

It's just that around 2009 the normies just went crazy with it.
