May I ask your age range? (I'm mid-twenties)Thanks, I had been waiting for a reply to his question. I'm completely out at 3000 Hz.
dead at the early 14k range in both earsMe too, can we get some more replies guys?
I'm not deaf. What makes you think that? Because I can't hear the 3000 Hz?how did you go deaf without realizing it?
is it a gap at 3000hz or can you not hear above 3000hz?I'm not deaf. What makes you think that? Because I can't hear the 3000 Hz?
wow, I wasn't even born when you were cleaning that roomI don't know, typical loud noise environments, busy living my life. I've had different levels of T my whole life. (I did have a virus that caused bad vertigo twenty years ago, from cleaning a room of roach and rodent filth.) Then an unexpected compressed airblast in a small room with glass panels sent it over the top. I wish I had my old T back but moving forward now.
i wish i was your age.wow, I wasn't even born when you were cleaning that room
Curious to know how messed up MPP's hearing is generally
Watch this and let me know how far you get before you can't hear the sound anymore
50's. Now hoping for another 50, T and all.May I ask your age range? (I'm mid-twenties)
this is actually a really good meme idea.
I'm the same - similar age, should be studying, exploring my interests, exploring the world; but instead all busy with terrible tinnitus. But while I think it's tragic, I don't think it's pathetic. HL and severe T are horrendous conditions and nobody can ever be blamed for these conditions throwing their life completely off course.early 20's. not yet a boomer
isn't it pathetic how a full grown adult that should be in classes making friends and working is spending all day shitposting on a tinnitus forum?
There may or may not be a superior test online but a visit to an ENT would be almost guaranteed to be even less usefulView attachment 21256
Would there be a superior test online, or would a visit to the ENT only be good enough?
I have heard standard headphones and computers are somewhat inaccurate because of computer equalizer settings and they aren't medical devices in a completely silent booth. There may or may not be a superior test online but a visit to an ENT would be almost guaranteed to be even less useful

Hey guys, I'm in my early 30's, you're young. You have plenty of life to live. They will more than likely have the cure by the time you're my age. I have a 2 year old and that makes me sad to think I have to share the cutest, best years of my son's life with this shitnitus. Try and be strong and push through this and get your educations, try and fall in love etc. What else can we do? I'm starting to realize that this is among the worst things that could have happened to us. I'd almost rather be in prison. I honestly have no idea whether or not fx322 is going to work or not or give us brain tumors later in life who knows. We just have to push through this and have hope. I do think this, if they restore our hearing and or cure tinnitus, that we will be better people afterwards. Most people are little babies about all kinds of stuff and we are pretty much already like effum and their stupid non-problems.I'm the same - similar age, should be studying, exploring my interests, exploring the world; but instead all busy with terrible tinnitus. back when i was your age i thought i would eventually grow out of being a degenerate and that i had free time to kill.
i miss being your age seriously.(even though you are only a few years younger then me)zoomer life style
It is haunting. But I wouldn't say our lives are completely ruined at all.i miss being your age seriously.

what if fx 322 restores out hearing loss and cures tinnitus? then what?Think about it very well.

well for your's and all of our sake, I hope it does. I am hopeful. So far it seems very promising. Regrowing mammal cochlear cells has never been done before the last couple years, and it has happened, in living animals. It may have happened in that Phase 1 trial, we just don't know yet. We may not even know after December either when this phase is over because the outcome measures don't include efficacy. Then it will resume. Otherwise now is immense pain, misery, and suffering.
Me and @Contrast suffer a lot we have a lot of hearing damage.
