I still cant believe we have no treatment for this? WTF people. Do I have to live with debilitating tinnitus? Severe Hyperacusis?

dont get me started on CBT. WTF Audiologists think that freakin therapy will help me with a 24/7 10khz-11khz piercing pitch in my head that can cover up 95% of sounds.
I like the doctors and sufferers who pretend that this crap is like a cure. It's basically mass delusion.

My T can be heard over AC, music playing on laptop, and sound machine. Its just so loud and high in pitch that it cuts through every sound. Today I was walking by this road and it had traffic. I heard my T over it

I dont know how much more I can endure this. I will probably end it all in 2-3 years if no treatment comes out and or my T or H dont go away. Mine is way too loud that I can hear it over people's voices and sometimes I cant even understand them or myself when I talk. I have to yell to hear myself.
There will be help. I just reread @kelpiemsp posts over to help my self. Plus he's got a cute dog and a smiley face as status. His T sounds similar to yours
I cant describe mine and I have other tones, thus when I am in a quiet room its is a 10/10. I have a loud sound coming from the middle of my head, like church bell ringing but constant....
We have a chance at least. My dad had to have his stapeas removed due to infection. Left him with 40% hearing and a hurricane of tones in his head. No amount of Fx22 will help him. Makes me sad
We need a new medical specialty - hearing doctor (not "ear" doctor).

Did MuteButton, U of MI and U of MN all come up with this similar bimodal stimulation idea more or less independently? Would lend way more credence to the idea. Just curious.
It was a pun, we're seeing good signs regarding efficacy of signal timing, but the timing is bad as it seems several years away from release, at least for U of MI device.
Haha okay gotcha. I know, that's why I'm heavily considering cord blood stem cells. Even with how expensive it is ,I want to at least say I tried
