I'm seriously considering about $7000 - $10,000 of my own money to go find out if PRP full of various growth factors can treat tinnitus. Just put this in perspective.
Have you talked to Minbo Shim yet? If not, try to give him a call today.

As previously stated, Dr. Minbo's treatment consists of platelet rich plasma which contains:
platelet-derived growth factor
transforming growth factor beta
fibroblast growth factor
insulin-like growth factor 1
insulin-like growth factor 2
vascular endothelial growth factor
epidermal growth factor
Interleukin 8
keratinocyte growth factor
connective tissue growth factor
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platelet-rich_plasma

From Pubmed:
"epidermal growth factor, transforming growth factor alpha, insulin, IGF-1, and IGF-2 are important for regeneration/repair in the mammalian labyrinth."
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/9751665/?i=6&from=/9263028/related

Notice he doesnt advertise or explain this, I had to dig for it and it looks like there is a rational/evidence based argument for his treatment.

Cool. Say, can we continue this on the other thread? It feels kind of wrong to hijack the OP's thread like this, and this seems like vital information for that other thread.

is it fleeting tinnitus when your hearing dips low for a few seconds then comes back?

DUDE! I thought I was the only one. Does your hearing dip like you are going deaf and your tinnitus gets really loud. Then over like 10 seconds your hearing comes back and the tinnitus also drops to baseline?

yeah that happened to me right now, I've had them a few times before

I have that happen too sometimes. Usually is followed by short buzzing though.

Lubuntu. Have a dual boot, not use often.
Lubuntu is a good distro to make use of a low end Machine.

Like an Old Windows XP, replace it with Lubuntu and it will still have use of it running modern applications.

For a good distro for a modern computer use Ubuntu or Linux Mint

I had this WAY before I had regular tinnitus, at least as long as I can remember. Now I get them where my hearing drops followed by a cessation of T with no fleeting T sound. Very weird

I ran Mint for a month or so after my Windows went out the window but now I just bought a new computer.
