I don't think "audiology and otology medical professions" are able to do anything more than what they have been trained to do. R&D must produce a new treatment that will have enough market demand to change how income is produced by "medical professionals".
Any "paradigm shift" will be prompted by the opportunity to make money.

Some may have sound therapy devices neuromod style
But most offer TRT, or hearing aids. That's it.

What is MPPs thoughts on mutebutton? I am optimistic and looking forward to the release in January. I know FDA will take longer (hopefully not too long), but at least the Ireland release will give us some insight into how well it works.

Yeah I'm gonna spunk another 4k on it and if it does fuck all I really don't know what's next. Tinnitus has jaded the shit out of me. This ain't living folks. It's eating dog shit for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every fucking day.
My sense is that audiology, as an entire discipline (not just TRT in specific), is corrupt, it is greedy and, most critically its medical advances are way behind pace of those of other current medical fields.
