My sense is that audiology, as an entire discipline (not just TRT in specific), is corrupt, it is greedy and, most critically its medical advances are way behind pace of those of other current medical fields.

my life is ruined. spent my 20's slowly watching my dad get poisoned to death, brought a child into this world, thought everything was turning around, got tinnitus. i hate myself. My God what have I done?

what a fucked up disease. there's a potential cure, but it's in trials and we can't get our questions answered. there's a doctor in SK that claims he can cure this, but he's a ghost on the internet which is bizarre, and we can't get our questions answered. people don't understand because they can't hear it. many times they try and act as if we're just over focused on it. doctors don't know shit and lie to us sometimes. or even worse they throw us in an MRI and make it worse.
