My Posting Place

We know that. you are repeating yourself and forcing me to repeat myself like a broken record.

New hair cells do come with new ribbon synapses confirmed.
but damaged hair cells with less ribbon synapses stay damaged.

Noise Exposure causes ribbon synapses to die on living hair cells, THIS HAPPENS BEFORE HAIR CELLS DIE, LIVING HAIR CELLS EXIST THROUGHOUT THE COCHLEA WITHOUT SYNAPTIC RIBBONS WHICH CAUSES MUSIC TO SOUND LIKE BROKEN GARBAGE, BUT DOES NOT EFFECT THE HEALTH OF THE HAIR CELL.

NEW HAIR CELLS GROWING BACK WITH NEW SYNAPTIC RIBBONS WILL NOT MAKE UP FOR DAMAGED EXISTING ONES. IT WILL JUST GIVE BACK USELESS SUPER HIGH FREQUENCIES.

Unless tinnitus is in super high pitches then tinnitus will not resolve, music will still sound less pleasant if a song has excessive components of noise.

Now you have to show me evidence that damaged hair cells will be repaired with new synaptic ribbons so I can have an orgasmic miracle cure, or just admit your are riding the wrong wave.
I agree.
Have we determined if fx322, notch inhibition triggers healing? Or just new haircells?

I dont recall seeing anything about fx322 initiating healing of damaged cells.

There is so much shit I don't know, I'm using a highschool education (+ 1 week of college that had nothing to do with otology) and Google search results isn't going to help me understand if a ruptured hair cell, or a hair cell without a sterocillia will repair. I don't think anyone knows.

Professor Liberman stated the inner ear is impossible to biopsy. You can't disect a cochlea of a living rat or have an x-ray view of it.

John you are forced to answer my question about Ribbon synapses.

When Frequency Therapeutics regenerates new hair cells, will they also repair ribbon synapses on currently existing hair cells that lack them? I am 100% aware new hair cells have new ribbon synapses but you have shown no evidence that existing hair cells will be repaired.

I got it. The answer is we dont know. Seems kinda like the answer is no. Well, these are things these FDA trials will answer.

I can see it restoring the lost frequencies and reduce tinnitus, but then the damage is still there which will not help with painful hyperacusis, and maybe not distortion.

then FX-322 is useless for me

let's move on to Otonomy and Decibel Therapeutics as our savior. my bet's on Decibel.

the only hope is Otonomy and Decibel Therapeutics to regrow ribbon synapses.

Decibel has Charles Liberman on their team and his research is what lead to discoveries about hidden hearing loss and noise induced pain, and that neurotrophins can repair ribbon synapses.

The sad thing is eventually audiotory nerve fibers degenerate just like my hopes and dreams and once that happens the only option is suicide. I'm already making an assumption I have AN fibers just waiting to be reunited with new ribbon synapses.

Hate to say it, if all else fails you can just try and learn to live with it, which is not what I want for myself, I want to be healed.

ofcourse i'm not doing that... i'm not a cuck and all the people I give a fuck about will kill themselves too.

This isn't just a selfish interest John, I can't stand to see people I care about suffer or live in a society where we have access to fancy cars, fancy phones, fancy computers, but stone age medicine that doesn't add up with aesthetic of the time.

That's how a view things, the 21st century is lagging behind severely in biomedical research, wonder if it has anything to do with FDA regulations.

Well, I'm sorry you're suffering. We're certainly all in this together. This shit has ruined my life, just working and being a family man is an extreme struggle for me.

Even right now my tinnitus is going crazy. I hate this. And I do agree with you, mere hair cell regeneration/generation, isnt going to help either of us unless there is more to it than that.

F*CK, I feel the same way as you guys.
At least we're not just goddamn fooling ourselves.

only a moron believes 20db of hearing loss is normal, massive cochlear synaptopathy could occur at that damage.
high notes will be cancelled out by low notes in competing background noise.

Though it shouldn't effect your ability to hear your boss in an office
