As serious as the BTA are when they say their vision is " a world where no one suffers from tinnitus. "
Well it could mean everyone habituates and doesn't care (so they are not suffering), Also does this apply to visual snow, noise induced pain, heightened sound amplification and hearing loss? Are sufferers considering those issues tolerable.

Fun as they are, I think the Professor Pawel Jastreboff memes might be hurting tinnitus research. What if a real tinnitus researcher stumbles on this topic and sees @Contrast's memes? I would stop with the memes just to be safe...

memes are a way of transferring ideas. It shows the general public is interested.

The one @IAmCalifornia created about Pawel being a fraud, that's a serious accusation isn't it?
It's called free speech, and most of the civil world has it.

Researchers are probably happy that we are woke up to the corruption that is happening, but yes I am aware these memes about Jastreboff are Ad Hominids, that's why I actually back up my memes reasons why I oppose Jastreboff and TRT

all the bio-companies, universities, research groups, have come across my memes. No doubt about that.

They browse MPP during their lunchbreak probably.

How are memes hurting research?

I'm not defending Pawel Jastreboff, but was just cautious. Do you think he knowingly frauds people? Or does he believe in his own theory?
I believe that be believes his own bullshit, what matters is that he is a dangerous man.

He doesn't even have tinnitus. It rakes huge amount of cash, but is not a legitimate treatment. It's two year long, once a week session with a "tinnitus therapist". As you wear white noise generators 24/7... for two years straight.

It doesn't reduce tinnitus or anything, it's to get you used to it.

Tell me, at thousands of dollars out of pocket from you, the tinnitus sufferer, does that not sound like a big f*****g slap to the god damn face?

And let's nevermind the fact that he repeatedly says at conferences and interviews that there will never be a tinnitus cure. Yeah, thanks for the help, Jastreboff! Why not use your influence to help with bio medical research?

The dude represents everything wrong with this horrific affliction. He is the living embodiment of the world laughing at you and taking whatever dollars you have left to prey on your suffering.

The "Jastreboff" model is a joke. And various different "tinnitus clinics" (they call themselves CLINICS) will advertise this scam under different names like "tinnitus desensitization therapy".

Until he admits to his crimes I'll never stop smearing his name. I would upload even more horrific memes, but this TTalk does have certain standards that I know I'm already trampling on. But trust me I have not even scratched the depths of extreme shitposting and photoshopping

The clinic I visited (also known as the very back office of a small private hospital) offer Tinnitus Desensitation Therapy from £3,590. For what you get, that's pretttttty steep.

TDT is the same bullshit dude.

The T "clinic" I went to in Lackawanna County quoted me 5000 dollars. I initially tried and paid few sessions out of pure desperation and was bled completely dry. It's awful.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Did you have to pay for all of it?

I think bluepillers can do TDT. Redpillers just can't. I think a lot of TT, certainly a lot of MPP, are people who would be impervious to TDT.

To be fair to the audiologist I saw, he said it wouldn't work for me as my tinnitus tones change frequently. He said I'd need one stable tone or set of tones to make it work.

Not all of it but a decent chunk. I ended up declaring bankruptcy. I lost my job and my wife separated from me because for several, several months all I could focus on was my tinnitus. I had to move back in with my parents. Essentially I had a full blown mental breakdown. It was shocking to my family because prior to tinnitus I was a completely normal, level headed guy with a career, house, family, money, hobbies, friends, a good social life, etc.. I would say I loved life. After tinnitus, man... I get PTSD just thinking about how much my life has been turned upside down.
