This is amazing, potentially, for folks like myself and many others who's hearing loss is really bad.
possible angle at faster access to FX-322 , and other revolutionary therapies focused on nerve damage as well as hair cells, etc...
Could we potentially get a right to try in 2020?
My quality of life basically sucks compared to my life before Noise Induced Hearing Loss.
This could be amazing.
Nice post Contrast.

damn really? why do you think it has?
i've gotten a job in a kitchen and you'd be surprised how loud it can get. it's nothing but people yelling and machines beeping
this is seriously nuts i can't even get a basic cook job how isn't tinnitus treated as a disability. do i need an engineering degree to be in peace?

Man, in my 8 years of college I worked back of the house and front of the house from basic pizza up to fine dining. I'm not the best at what I do, having 2 engineering degrees, developing software and fixing software for factory/business processes and I often worry about what would happen if I get kicked out of the rat race and have to go back to restaurant stuff and be exposed to loud sounds, potentially worsening my tinnitus and ruining my life . I have to make money to not be a sponger on my wife and I've got a little boy so I have to push through and have hope that I don't royally fuck up or have someone else accidentally hurt me worse. Maybe use this as a motivation to learn to code and do ERP stuff just for your own health. Working in front of a computer is safe.

I am currently under heavy assault for criticizing William Shitner on twitter.

You do have a point when saying Mr William Shatner downplays the severity of tinnitus which many people such as myself have to endure. However, I believe your opinions of Mr Shatner, would have been better received if you cleaned up your language and shown more respect towards him which I feel he deserved.

One should show manners and respect towards someone even when disagreeing with them. If we don't it shows we have no class and haven't been brought up well.
