I was invited to a MLB baseball game. Afterwards was a concert type event on the field. The whole group I was with decided to move down front before the start of it. The volume was outrageous, speakers and amplifiers were huge. I had to place my hands over my ears the whole time. Everyone thought I was a flaming oddball.

A few weeks later my friend was telling me his brother is having acupuncture for tinnitus. I reminded him of the ballgame and asked, "Why do you think I was covering my ears? I have severe tinnitus."

I would have worn the ear muffs to NASCAR. As long as it didn't jeopardise my job security. Wear them over a hat, maybe looks better, I don't know. who cares

Web browsers like Firefox and Chrome should be available in two forms, Basic and Enterprise.


Basic would be 40-50mb in size and have the ability to browse websites like 2010-2012 versions of Firefox and Chrome + HTML5 support before they got bloated. Websites with highly rich content will not display correctly.

Enterprise would be like the web browsers we are using now that are 300mb in size and display the latest pajeetscript, webapps, heavy extensions and features that the vast majority of users don't use. Websites with highly rich content will display correctly.

It's never going to happen because the average person that uses a computer is too stupid to read and understand the difference, they just want to click download and go. Web browsers are going to keep getting bloated. Useless new standards continue to be implemented just because developers are bored and like modifying things that already work. If we could go back in time to the 2010 internet with the exception of HTML5 video replacing flash it would be beautiful. Websites today are bloated and distracting looking.
