Yeah don't worry Michael, I do not have an ignore list and you are still on my riverside supper list.

I'm back on working on my project, and I must say, it's really irritating not being able to get a domain name after spending so many hours trying to come up with the name. Damn domain parking asshats holding on to it for 9 years.

Hi, you said to remind you to tell me about how your Hyperacusis got worse and then got better? I'd really like to hear how that happened as I'm concerned that my H has gotten progressively worse in the almost 7 weeks I've had it.
When I first got tinnitus I had no hyperacusis until about 3 months in along with eye floaters. That's when it got almost debilitating. It would fluctuate between not that bad and so bad that I was gently placing dishes in my cabinet and could not tolerate the sound of my toddler's toys. I went and had a experimental treatment on my ears that preceded some modest improvements in my overall tinnitus but not so much the hyperacusis. Then starting around this last summer my hyperacusis started getting a little better and then by late summer about, it was all but gone in my left ear and only some high frequency sensitivity in my right ear. I attribute the alleviation of my hyperacusis to daily use of curcumin/turmeric, either one seems to be about the same, and NAC and Glutathione. Then I tried the R. David Case Tinnitus Mix and after 3 nights of that my hyperacusis was gone. I did the Tinnitus Mix for about 25 nights and starting around the 20th night my tinnitus started spiking again and it could be because I wasn't doing it correctly and using the wrong headphones but after discontinuing it for 3 nights, I'm back to a very good low tinnitus/no hyperacusis situation.

How much did you protect your ears during this time period? Also, did you have pain H or loudness H?

Now that I think of it, I was wrong to say that you had a point. To say that tinnitus is incurable and isn't terminal is to say that one might endure the suffering for decades. And THAT is indeed the worst thing about tinnitus. If one were to know that it will be gone in 5 years, one wouldn't be Nearly as bothered by it as when one knows that one might have to endure it for the rest of one's life, which might be over 50 years for some people.

That's exactly how I feel about my Hyperacusis rn. If I knew for sure it'd pass in a few months or even a year or 2, then I'd feel a lot better.

I only protected my ears in very noisy environments. I actually accidentally exposed myself to so pretty loud sounds, thanks to my child. When he's playing with me sometimes he will scream right in my ear.

Gotchu, one more question and then I'll let u be as I don't wanna bother u. When u say it fluctuated, do you mean by the hour, day, week, etc? Cause mine fluctuates by the day and the week it seems. Tho weekly it seems to be digressing.

You aren't bothering me at all. We're all in this together.

Just like that.

Go try the curcumin/NAC/glutathione thing like me. It won't hurt and might help. I recently saw a doctor and he said I was totally fine taking that stuff even at the doses I am.

Gotchu, I'll have to get some from the store. Thanks for the recommendation!

You didn't answer the loudness or pain question though, did sound cause you pain? It seems to cause me pain on more sensitive days.

Not really pain, it was just really loud and alarming.

Make sure you take these things with food and do it 3 times per day. The turmeric/curcumin, whichever one you get, is very safe and I recommend taking it in doses of like 3, 4 or even 5 grams.

I was at Popeye's. A small child walked up to my table, stared at me, then let out a small burst of screeching scream. I was like, how in the world do you see that coming. Dang (good thing my hearing aids were out)

You all need to listen to the last podcast.

This is the type of advocate that we need. This guy makes the ATA and BTA look like jokers that are just monkeys in the zoo flinging doo doo at each other.
