That is your first big mistake, believing science has anything to do with tinnitus.
Please explain your comment regarding science and tinnitus. I am asking you nicely. It will be for the betterment of the community.@threefirefour and I have an agreement. Please do not tag me here....

@threefirefour does science have anything to do with tinnitus like Michael Leigh says?I wish you would respect what I say. Contact @threefirefour and he will explain.

Good sir, I'm just asking a simple question. Can you please share your insight? Why doesn't tinnitus have anything to do with tinnitus? If you had asked me your question on the original thread then I would explain instead of tagging me on MPP. I have done what @threefirefour has asked to leave this place and I have no wish to return unless I am provoked.
Michael
I know. That is really a head scratcher.
Is it in my head that I got an experimental drug thinking I would get better and got worse instead?"Tinnitus is 90% mental and 10% physical." There is nothing to cure except your own overactive imagination. As for the other 10%, we'll just have to live with it. With memes if necessary.
Monkeyboy, please apply the sarcasm I intended. Sorry for not making that more evident. The holidays have this effect on me. As well as this hideous noise flooding my head. Which is 90% mental, basically my own fault. (see, I did it again)Is it in my head that I got an experimental drug thinking I would get better and got worse instead?
Yes it is in my head, the drug made my brain even more hyperactive. Is it mental? No, it is was caused by a case of a failure of science. Much of science is trying to find something that works. In this drug it didn't, but in other cases like Neuromod and the Michigan device it looks like it is.
You have it flipped. It is 90% science and 10% mental.
