Link please? Can't find that either on our page or group.Look at this bullshit I found on the Tinnitus Hub Facebook page.
What's up with these types of people? The tinnitus community is it's own worst enemy.View attachment 35279
Look at this bullshit I found on the Tinnitus Hub Facebook page. Fuck these people. Fuck them. They deserve to rot in hell for downplaying our suffering. I FUCKING AM SICK, AND GOD DAMN MOTHERFUCKING TIRED, of people saying "Oh it's a symptom la di da tee hee". FUCK YOU.
Who are these people with such wonderful mild tinnitus that it's dismissed as a "symptom". They must all be ENTs or ATA/BTA shills that love jacking off to Jastreboff's TRT playbook of utter cat shit and fraud.
I hope they all catch AIDS and die. Go to hell.

This post @Markku
This whole thing has sent me into a rage and every time someone SMASHES THAT LIKE BUTTON... it's over boyos... it's over.
Thanks, posted something there now.
You are completely correct that tinnitus being dismissed as "just a symptom" is one of the biggest problems we face as a community. It is used to justify a lack of funding for tinnitus research and in the argument that a limited amount of CBT or TRT will "solve" the problem.View attachment 35279

The medical community doesn't pay attention to anything until Government's start complaining about tinnitus and chronic pain weighing down on public disability. Governments complain about nuisances (like me) and neuropyschologist are given the task to make therapies like TRT, CBT, and ACT to get people with painful diseases and tinnitus off disability income. You are completely correct that tinnitus being dismissed as "just a symptom" is one of the biggest problems we face as a community. The medical establishment use the argument that tinnitus is a "symptom" as it is a subjective health condition. However, other health conditions such as back pain which are also "symptoms" - ie "subjective" - are normally described as health conditions not symptoms.
