In early November Tonaki Tinnitus Protocol went down before all of Sparkhealthmedia's sites and truth be told it was Toh getting doxxed that did this.

The more hearing impaired soldiers with severe tinnitus the mroe NIH and Ministry of Health grants go towards TRT, CBT and ACT.

Microdosing is an interesting concept but far from the holy grail for tinnitus sufferers. Most psychedelics are serotonergic and serotonin provokes my tinnitus. Dopaminergic drugs possibly as well. Which brings me to another gripe about tinnitus: why would the addition of x provoke tinnitus, but the subtraction/blocking of x have no effect on tinnitus? Tinnitus loves to be a paradoxical little bastard.
Yeah, it's a conundrum for sure. Only 5ht drug I have tried which actually suppresses it is MDMA @ 150mg or so, but, it's an extremely temporary effect and then there is a rebound.

I mentioned DMT's tendency to take a turn for the clownish to my mom and she was deeply disturbed. Never had much interest in it but that about seals it.
This is all fascinating to me because I have never experienced anything remotely like this on my 3-4 trips to hyperspace, and I had this conversation with my wife this morning:

LinearB: "Watch out for the DMT clowns. You could go smoke some DMT and see clowns"

MrsB: "What??"

LinearB: "On DMT everything turns into clowns"

MrsB: "No it doesn't, I've done it"

LinearB: "someone online told me that for them and other people, everything is clown like"

MrsB: "I feel sorry for those people"

I agree, that sounds awful. DMT is one of my favorite things in the universe; clowns are... well, clowns are not, let's just leave it there.

I know exactly who NoiseKills is - and I sincerely wish they posted here too as their knowledge on hyperacusis is sublime, also through their personal experience with it. I think some of their concerns might be alleviated this year when we get to announce something new in this arena...

And thanks brokensoul, we just love you to bits. If you guys haven't read his posts on Tinnitus Talk, please do. He's put so much selfless effort into his contributions here. When I saw him transcribing the Frequency Therapeutics session, my jaw literally dropped.

It's so refreshing to see at least some people wanting to contribute to the community and this cause, in this so self-centered world... I realize not everyone can do as much as some of our heroes, but all of us should try to give a little bit instead of just take.

:thankyousign:

I tried to get NoiseKills on the forum in the past and NK refused

This year has already produced so many things to be optimistic about it's almost unbelievable. Between Hough getting financial backing for phase 2, then already reaching ~half of their funding goal for the separate tinnitus trial in phase 2 and NOW the president/CEO actually SPEAKING our speculation about FX-322 labeled a "breakthrough therapy" into existence, there are SO many sources of inspiration for tinnitus & hyperacusis sufferers. It really seems like things are finally falling into place.

My blessings onto my MPP people.
