F*ck I'm really sorry dude. It really is a clown world, as you suggest.I DONT EVEN HAD THE ABILITY TO CONCENTRATE TO DRAW STUPID SHIT IM SUFFERING SO MUCH!
It'd be a shame to see you go when legit treatments could be here soon. I'm going to do everything I can to push for conditional approval on FX-322.I DONT EVEN HAD THE ABILITY TO CONCENTRATE TO DRAW STUPID SHIT IM SUFFERING SO MUCH!
His problem aint tinnitus or hyperacusis or hearing loss. He has some bad chronic pain. It'd be a shame to see you go when legit treatments could be here soon. I'm going to do everything I can to push for conditional approval on FX-322.
I thought he had horrible hyperacusis and not good tinnitus? His problem aint tinnitus or hyperacusis or hearing loss. He has some bad chronic pain.
no his tinnitus got better and hyperacusis no longer bothers him... it's this new pain problem that kills him.I thought he had horrible hyperacusis and not good tinnitus?
If anyone here doesn't know I have a new disease I don't understand and I'd rather not talk about.
I do not know if it's viral or autoimmune or whatever but I do know it involves arteries and muscles. I got ultra sounds, ct scans and blood test showing little to no clue. At times it's very painful and dehumanzing. I hope to find out whats wrong but I doubt I will get better. I will probably be offing myself within the next several months.
The universe really pisses me off sometimes. Imagine improving tinnitus and hyperacusis just to get slapped by more bullshit.no his tinnitus got better and hyperacusis no longer bothers him... it's this new pain problem that kills him.
This problem has nothing to do with my ears. It'd be a shame to see you go when legit treatments could be here soon. I'm going to do everything I can to push for conditional approval on FX-322.
The circle of shit.....Uhm, Uhh.....life I mean. The universe really pisses me off sometimes. Imagine improving tinnitus and hyperacusis just to get slapped by more bullshit.
I wish he would see more doctors or specialists. It seems unlikely that he has an unknown disease that has no treatment. There are many stories of people suffering with something unknown because they go to shit doctors, but when they find the right one they can get things on track. I'm sure there is a name to what he has and he just needs to find someone who can give the proper diagnosis.no his tinnitus got better and hyperacusis no longer bothers him... it's this new pain problem that kills him.

at the mention of DMT, a LinearB appears.Holy shit I totally missed that.
To be honest none of them were meat and potatoes research, but very little tinnitus research is. The DMT thing was funny but so impractical. I knew people would vote for it just because psychedelics are interesting to employ in clinical studies. Taking DMT for tinnitus would be batshit insane.
at the mention of DMT, a LinearB appears.
I was going to say, "I don't know about 'batshit insane', given the nonzero number of people who report tinnitus suppression or relief from microdosing psilocybin and the obvious structural and pharmcologic similarities of these substances."
Then I saw that the original question was actually about 5-meo-dmt, and so yes, I'll agree with batshit insane, just because five methoxy has a reputation for being just about the most unpleasant and anxiety provoking DMT analog I am aware of :-P
On the other hand, maybe if you get used to chronically inducing a state of severe fear and stress, over time it builds your resilience? The flipside of that idea is a friend of a friend who actually did five methoxy daily for like two months and then acted borderline schizophrenic for a full year.
edit: I tried the microdose psilocybin thing, and even though it was not helpful, it struck me as less crazy than just hopping back on benzos or antidepressants or something without trying every other solution that wasn't a daily pill first.
Microdosing is an interesting concept but far from the holy grail for tinnitus sufferers. Most psychedelics are serotonergic and serotonin provokes my tinnitus. Dopaminergic drugs possibly as well. Which brings me to another gripe about tinnitus: why would the addition of x provoke tinnitus, but the subtraction/blocking of x have no effect on tinnitus? Tinnitus loves to be a paradoxical little bastard.at the mention of DMT, a LinearB appears.

I mentioned DMT's tendency to take a turn for the clownish to my mom and she was deeply disturbed. Never had much interest in it but that about seals it.
