What software do you use to make gifs?

I use gimp for touch ups and editing fancy effects combined with this obscure 1998 gif editing program called Animation Shop

the problem i'm dealing with now is that the really old animation shop program I have doesn't enough special effects, certain gifs have to be converted in a certain way so it can read them and it has some other tiny bugs to run it through a Linux/Windows compatibility

I'm desperately seeking an alternative instead of having to hop back in forth with gimp

You can always check if there's something on SourceForge, but yeah...if you use Linux, you're on your own basically.

Wouldn't you agree that it is useful to address

do you really believe "many people" feel tinnitus is worse than cancer? I mean really? No, seriously, like really? Really, really, really?

The fact that around one half answered Yes, seems to imply that "Yes, Really. Many people feel that having T is worse than cancer" (while of course the actual figure of 50% is, in itself, useless).
