Doctors actually believe this.

Greed is unfortunately a prominent human trait from Drs to CEOs and a lot of societal problems are a consequence of this. There are exceptions, though, and it would be nice if there were a better way to find those individuals who were competent, compassionate and willing to look past quotas and "take the loss" with longer consultations and self directed learning.

No matter how much you invest in cyber security on the software end. "Degooglizing, not using chrome, linux, foss, alternative front ends to mainstream websites. Even VPN's. You cannot get past this fatal obstacle. I myself cannot get past it. :(

Alternative CPU's built into the hardware of Intel and AMD devices.

You can talk?

He's deploys dozens of goofy websites all through out the internet. He gives away the source code of the site for free. These sites allow user to make memes through basic html webpages. You combine multiple image files with an audio file and optional text captions to make them. The end result is a screen filled with animated gifs and a catchy song or looping audio.

This post goes against my dooms day prophecy. Why would Google get rid of something that gives them potentially more control over over the users workflow? I made the claim that more and more software is going to become online only along with cloud based subscriptions. However Google getting rid of web only apps in 2022 is a step backward for that cause. This will also make Chrome lighter instead of taking a gig of RAM like usual.

Most people do not like to use keyboard inputs and shortcuts when using Office, image editing, or video editing software. They also do not like tailoring the menu and toolkit of the program so their most frequent used commands are easily accessible. They don't take the time to study and familiarize themselves with the properties of a tool and it's various applications. They just expect magic to work out of the box. It's okay if the software connects to a database to use a Artificial intelligence to perform a task. Most "click to remove background" or deep learning to remove unwanted background audio require connecting to a central database.

Gimp can't compete with photoshop that makes use of deep learning programs (hosted on foreign servers) there is open source deep learning programs that crop photos, but I don't know how they will fair compared to whatever Adobe does, which is far ahead.

Atleast my pictures are not being forwarded to Adobe's servers.

Yes. I have a job and do not have time to configure garbage tier software made by neckbeards, nor some guys github project when I can use professional grade software that meets industry standards. I pay so computers stay out of the way. -Sent from Apple iPhone

With a plethora of tinnitus treatment scams extant - I couldn't resist this one:

"This lego device showed great improvement for a certain segment of patients. We are currently analyzing the data and determining which subtypes of patients will improve. But while we figure out who this lego device will actually work for, we invite ALL patients to come pay us money to find out if it works for them like it did for these patients in our testimonials!!!"

It's quite fun

RIP @threefirefour 's alter. He truly lost the debate.

Atheist activist Aron Ra who is well known for debating creationist using evolutionary phylogeny and taxonomy basically confirmed he subscribes to panpyschist views based on unicellular intelligence. This guy is extremely critical of religion and is amazing at debating and showing photogenic history on how specific organs evolved via evidence in the fossil record and primitive animals/life ect.. He has several dozen of videos on Youtube on how birds evolved from dinosaurs, how mammals evolved from reptile-like mammals and how specific organs evolved. Along with plently of videos tarnishing religion and debunking bible fables. He is well devouted to opposition to religion and nonsense. However against mainstream orthodoxy he subscribes to a panpyschist theory of proto-consciousness that can be traced back as the common ancestor of all life. The theory goes that proto-conciousness can explain both abiogenesis of life and why consciousness exist. Consciousness didn't emerge it only amplified.

PROOF in his debate with a creationist!

15:55-18:55

Aron: "You can find evidence of consciousness in single cell organisms that don't have a brain or even synapses"

Aron: "Single cells organisms without synapses can navigate mazes, and have the ability to reason and form memories" Once you have synaptic abilities you are just giving consciousness the ability to expand.

-
So that wraps it up. I won the argument against threefirefour's alter. The next time a materialist says "we are just a bunch of cells' you can agree remind them what a cell is and how discovery of Unicelluar intelligence throws a major curve ball at selfish gene models.

I always wonder if people who make professional tutorials on how to use software actually do everything with the mouse? If I was working with software I would be taking advantage of the HUD search and keyboard shortcuts. Are they doing this for the sake of the novices viewing the video and studying the tutorial or are they really wasting that much time. These people who make tutorials on gimp know a lot more about it's functionality then I do but I'd love to know if everything they do is point and click. It will give users the impression that it takes a lot more effort then it actually does.

You use a cursor to draw, skew, move and crop things out but not to select tools or options.

Okay this software is really useful when it comes to converting images with text into plain text. Especially when the original text cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. You just drag a screenshot on the clipboard into the left box and select "recognize all" button in the middle of the program. It converts images and pdfs to plain text and almost never makes mistakes outside of mistaking certain letter I's for vertical bars or extremely low quality images.

Example of the letter I bug that can be easily worked around using search and replace:

If this happens it has a search and replace all characters tool that can easily correct the bug or the user can manually edit the text.
In my case I have to manually edit text to remove the date, Like, Share, See Translation Facebook Jargon in on the fake tinnitus cure testimonials.

If you uncheck the default "preserve paragraph" and load a re render of the text it will change the text format so it can be more formal pasted into a document. It also comes with a built in spell check mode if you right click on mispelt text. You still have do a few manual edits if the paragraph has lots of spaces but as you can see I requested it to remove the paragraph format as much as possible. I still had to do manually edits to remove space

The document is done but the online PDF hoster I use has degraded image quality and I could not use Google Drive because it breaks the page indexing format (atleast the way I do it)

:( people are going to think my graphics are shit and they are but worse shit.

It takes two seconds to make them I just make an outline text with a gimp plugin and then press a keyboard shortcut to bevel and shadow with a preset.
