I promise within a month or two I'll have characters that can be put in the middle of the spirals, and I just found software that can make this fancy text generation easier.

I enjoy challenging myself to recreate Photosshop CSX achievements using Gimp and other open or non-SAAS software.

Original made by some turbo normie paying Adobe $$$ every month

Results using Gimp, GMIC and pytorch REMBG

It took me over an hour to figure out something relating to how to get multiple layers selected, but now that I know the time can probably be cut to about 10-15 minutes.

I'm not actually disabled; I have type V (victim) hyperacusis and I just don't want it enough. You see, I'm so mentally ill that I like coming on here all day because I would rather gain attention on a medical forum filled with actual sick people than live a normal life. I also don't want to improve because that could jeopardize my current disability income of $0 per year. Gotta play the role to earn the big bucks, compliments of the United States socialist system, which gives way too many freebies, while the rich struggle.

The father of TRT agrees. If I logged off the forums, my hyperacusis would just go away, much like Trump's prediction of COVID-19 last spring. That's how it works. I'm definitely not on here because I'm struggling -- I'm struggling because I'm on here.

You know what? I think about my hyperacusis too much. Maybe that's why I still have it. I should pull a Leroy Jenkins and try to habituate. I bet that would go swimmingly.

This 1999 software running in a XP virtual machine is extremely based and is capable of making custom graphical text templates for on command editing, and it does so extremely well. I am still learning it, and I like how it comes with lots of presets.

Like usual Sonus Complete will have a special purple variation.

Photoshop Original, made by a normie who has to indefinitely pay for software he can never legally own. He also will make excuses like "but this is the standard or "I would spend more time learning garbage tier software" or whatever babble these people mouths.

Gimp and REMBG

It looks better without a blur.

I can experiment on adding bubbles and an underwater effect to the sky layer later.

Can I like the normy's work and yours?
sure, as long as you aren't a m word. You know... Mechanistic Materialist.

-----------

This is what 99% of people use Photoshop for. Aura around a character, and a background featuring a gausian blur recolor with a grid or dots. Sometimes, Emoji's and text captions are present.

I tried to recreate the aesthetic using Gimp and the python background removal neural network.

upload_2021-2-1_6-22-30.png

The neural network got rid of the laptop.

So I had to edit the orginal layer with Gimp's wand and crop out part of the laptop manually.
upload_2021-2-1_6-28-25.png

This is where I made a mistake. I added the aura glow around the character, and then after around the laptop. That was a big F up on my part. I should have merged the layer of the laptop with the guy. Then I made the background yellow, blurred it, and added a polkadot filter. Pressed "T" for text, then drop shadow outline, Shift R rotate and long shadow dark yellowish green with transparency. Thus completing the stroke text layer.

Gimp can edit text that is spaced, resized and recolorized, but if you add a stroke outline or rotate the text it is no longer editable. That is an embarrassing fact that Photoshop solved.

EDITABLE

NOT EDITABLE

Gimp can make any kind of fancy text in the world, and it can do it very quickly with keybindings but once shadows, bevels, glows and other shit is applied it is impossible to edit. I believe Photoshop solved this problem and allows text presets.

@Contrast

Do you just do tinnitus scam pictures or do you ever bait scammers to waste their time? I've been having fun with Instagram scammers lately. Have you ever contacted anyone?
I successfully managed to redirect Sonus Complete's traffic by taking over Google Image results with those images. Here are viewer statitistics of one of the websites hosting the anti Sonus Complete content.

This is an example of the consequences of an OS that lacks longterm backward compatibility. They are forced to either find an alternative to use the SAAS version.

CS6 is the last version of Photoshop that can be locally installed.

When you don't static link software it could cause library hells. Mac and Linux both have this problem but Apple has $$$ to keep it under control.

This is an example of a wreckless company that intentionally killed 32 bit software to help their SAAS vendors. Sure, some tech savy users will make 32 bit environments to run classical CS. But it won't matter because the skill ceiling is beyond 99% of the population.

Instead of just having our favorite tinnitus research papers highlighted, we need to include a category for "the most pathetic tinnitus research papers". Once a month we can highlight a shitty sociology study and point out all its flaws.
