Every now and then my tinnitus gets so low that it dips below the threshold of perception, meaning I can't hear it. I hope you're not right on a technicality.

I used to be one of those obnoxious ''Won't ever touch any drugs, alcohol and such, not even caffeine or meds unless absolutely necessary'' kinda people. Can't really recognize myself any more. I'm also too much of a wuss to do it, but I feel like I can't stay alive much longer either.

Well, I haven't tried weed yet, so maybe that's where the secret is.

Since I've never tried drugs except weed (which I don't really consider a drug if it's only from time to time)

I don't really know what to say about it sometimes I would even be tempted to try but I still hope you'll be careful if you decide to enter this world cause we all know how fast things can be

Trying not to be too dramatic, but, careful takes a bit of a passenger's seat when you're fighting for survival, which is what I think most of us are doing. I dunno, I might try it, or I might not. But hearing all the horror stories about everything, if it came down to it, think I'd rather try weed than ADs or other strong psychopharmaceuticals like that.

Because he's the good guy who's legacy will be built on a cure. Same with Susan Shore. I think the main difference between them and jastreboff is that they can benefit from this cure. Jastreboff can but because he benefits more from there not being a cure, he doesn't want one.

I wonder about the accuracy of these online tests. According to them I'm beyond messed up. But, there's nowhere to actually test for this, as most of these aren't even regarded as real where I live.

@Contrast Have you had actual tests with an appropriate doctor, or are you self-diagnosed?

How do you guys tolerate life?

I just can't get over my regret over letting doctors ruin my life by trying to ''fix'' nonexistant issues and causing chronic facial pain and discomfort, and tinnitus in the process. Every single waking day, no matter what I tell myself, I just can't get over it.

How do you guys go through the day, what keeps you going?

I just remind myself it wasn't my fault, I was just looking after my own health, and really it was the physician's fault to not denote wax wasn't the issue but clogged tubes and maybe a jaw issue. They should've known better, not me.

Keep at it, dude... I really hope you recover.

It's a special kind of hell, when you're let down by those you're taught to inexplicably trust your entire life. And not just let down, but permanently damaged. I'm so sorry you fell victim to medical malpractice as well. I'm not a hateful person, but the hatred that I harbor for the doctor who ended my life about a year ago is more than I think I can even feel.

Thank you for the kind words. I wish this didn't happen to anyone ever. I also hope that you recover as well, no matter how small the chances, or at least find some relief. God knows all of us need it.
