My Posting Place

i remember when I first joined and seen someone sperging around on the forum, posting anime, posting negative comments in habituation threads and had his own thread which he insisted i post memes in.

that someone was threefirefour and the rest was history

Infact I was planning ignoring him and being mature, until he set Hugh as his profile picture
that's when I completely fell for the autism because I love Hugh memes so much long before i
met threefirefour. lolol

Unfortunately, the second option actually requires donations. And guess what? Nobody donates anything!

To anyone here, on MPP, who wants to help change that, then go here:

This is just the beginning. Let's get the money the researchers need and start doing some fundraisers. We can actually make a huge difference to the second arrow in that picture right here and now. All it takes is participation because we have the numbers!

i still believe tinnitus caused by hearing loss can be reversed by reversing hearing loss
inb4 normies say but tinnitus is in the brain, TRUE, but what is it caused by usually, HEARING LOSS!

it's so freaking obvious the brain rewires itself because of hearing loss, restoring input to the audiotory nerve and the higher brain functions will go back to their normal neuronal activity and decrease central gain once they realize the audiotory nerve is acting regular.

seriously it's the theory of duh and time after time neuroplascity is shown to be effective

American tinnitus association makes hearing loss and tinnitus two separate issues when they really are two sides of the same coin.

it seriously makes me mad knowing that tinnitus and hearing loss research aren't hand in hand.

it would be easier to regenerate cochlear hair cells that already have progeinotor cells in place that are coded to regenerate them
it would be possible to restregthen hair cell to synapse connections (CHARLES LIBERMAN SAID THIS)
the only problem is repairing the audiotory nerve itself

in the near future science will be able to tackle hearing loss at a biological level.

That sounds a whole lot easier then targetting the exact unknown regions in the brain generating tinnitus
only temporarily reducing it.
